Upcycling a Vision to a Fancy Costume
Being a traditionalist, as well as a habitualistic, I stuck with my typical black. . . But this year, I added some red and stepped it up a notch from just wearing cat ears or a Mardi Gras mask.
My vision included lots of upcycling, destashing, and outright creative maneuvering of:

Embracing Autumn
As much as I *L♥VED* my summer decor - as the leaves change colors, the weather gets cooler, and the days get shorter - it's time for change.
Out of the four seasons we experience here in Southeast Kansas, Fall is #3 on my list. . . just not one of my favorites. And, as far as Halloween goes. . . it doesn't quite make it to my top 3. But, being that I like to decorate, and the last time I actually decorated was nearly half a year ago. . . change is good!
Start with a few books carefully selected from my bookshelves and add a small trinket. . . Then move on to a favorite ghost

Aloha Hawaiian Chicken!!
Two words: DELISH and YUM!!!!
The fact that you literally can dump in the ingredients and completely walk away to only return several hours later to a restaurant quality main dish makes this recipe additionally amazing! Add a couple of jalepenos with the green pepper layer if you want to add some 'kick.'

It's All In The Egg Muffin Quiche
Simplest, most versatile, perfect-for-later recipe *ever*!!!
It starts in a standard muffin pan - and ends with YUM.
This recipe hooked me on Facebook when I first saw it. But, me being me, I tweaked it, modified it ever so slightly, and measured out the ingredients to make it easier for you. It's a great one to use up whatever you have on hand - the only ingredient *required* is eggs. And you can serve it for any meal - or even as snacks in between when you're on the go.

Upcycling, Recycling, & Buttoning Up a Spray Painting Project
I LOVE re-purposing found objects to make them not only useful - but beautiful and fun! And I *love* containers with personality - it's a 'puzzle' to me to figure out how to fit 'stuff' into these interesting containers in unusual (and utilitarian) ways, then decorate with them.

Summer Holiday Un-Decorating
Summer. . . Beach. . . Being outside. . . Tranquility. . .
I was thinking the other day, as I took down my Easter Decorations , why don't we decorate for summer? I mean. . . I guess by packing away all the holiday decorations it is a sort of decorating. Decorating by undecorating, I suppose.

We Lovingly Call it P-O-O Soup
It's name may be rather odd, but this soup is quick, easy, and delicious!
Another of Hubster's creations, this one is a throw-back to his Mama. And though my penchant for acronyms makes its name somewhat worrisome, there's no need for brow furrowing. Potato-Onion-Oyster (otherwise known as Poo) soup is positively tasty and I'm thankful Hubster loves it enough (despite our teasing) to make it for us at least once or twice a year:-)
